That's me! People always ask me how I got into photography and truth is- I love art but hate getting messy. Since I had camera with me all the time before it turned into a career, it was a natural progression to go on and study what I loved most. I graduated magna cum laude from Tyler School of Art with a BFA in Photography and certification in Art Education. Huge respect for all the teachers out there!
For the past 11 years, I've been a wedding and portrait photographer and love all the excitement and emotion involved with capturing important life stages. When I'm not shooting or editing, I love to take my dog-child, Penny, to the park and try new places to eat with friends. I'm also really interested in family heritage and digging up old photos and documents from my ancestors.
In regards to shooting, I believe in maintaining comfortable and friendly communication with everyone in front of my lens and feel that photoshoots should be fun and exciting for both myself and my clients. I handle everything from start to finish with your photography experience. This is from planning the timeline and helping you pick out the perfect location for your portraits, to editing your images, posting your online gallery, and designing a one-of-a-kind album that tells the story of the special life stage. It's so important for me to get to know my clients (and for you to get to know me!) so I can capture interactions and moments in the most natural and genuine way.
